Community is key aspect of Christian life and it's something we as InterVarsity value deeply. In an effort to reach out the campus community and build a community in our own fellowship, we have two teams in place.
The integration team makes a concentrated effort to make sure that the people that come to InterVarsity events part of the fellowship even after they aren't in a meeting. They seek to build relationships that reflect the love of God and create an open environment for people to grow in their walks with Him. If you're interested in hearing more about this team, contact Melissa Abraham.
The outreach team seeks to spread the love of God and the purpose of InterVarsity to people who don't know about it here on campus. Through various efforts such as giving out flyers, running buzz events, and doing proxe stations, the outreach team lets the campus know what InterVarsity is doing. If you're interested in hearing more about this team, contact Alex Marcinkiewisk.
The welcome team's purpose is to create a space where the people that come to InterVarsity meetings feel accepted and included. They seek to have conversations with everyone so that when they come to something that InterVarsity is hosting, they feel comfortable and know faces in the crowd. If you're interested in hearing more about this team, contact Kevin Yee.
